In reply to: Jeanine's Friend 's message, "Chadi -- you have a few mistakes with your French, also." on 19:48:00 09/20/02 Fri

. First about the cédille in "ce", i don't think that you don't have enough intelligence to realize that it was your friend's mistake, not mine. As you realized, I just copied and pasted the sentence of your friend and corrected two of its mistakes in red. I didn't realize that she had also a third mistake; however, you did see it and, instead of helping me, you tried to put the blame on me . What I can tell you in such case is: grow up. Moreover, I didnt realize her cédille mistake because i was reading her post while watching a tutorial video in my scuba diving course at a scuba diving center. So, please forgive me if i wasn't making full attention to your friend's too correct french (sarcasm).
. Second, in the spoken french the "e" in "on ne dit" is not pronounced that's why i (and the french people)put informally an apostrophe instead. But apparently, this isn't to your level, so you'd better not involve yourself with it, and let's forget about it.
. Finally, don't ever try to correct people in such a rude and impolite way, especially when you are 100% wrong, like now...

If you correct someone using their same mistake, it becomes your mistake, too. The point is not to impolitely find fault with others if you don't want them to do the same to you. (NT)Jeanine's Friend23:39:20 09/20/02 Fri
