Subject: Cant belive i missed guy fawks night for this shit!!

after 5 months of waiting for revolutions i cant belive what the brothers have done to this film! People originally got their kicks from this film from the idea of a virtual world where rules can be bent and we see superhuman activity never b4 seen. Only about a quarter of revolutions was actually set in the matrix. The first shootout scene with the roof walking enemies no way compared to the military lobby scene in the first film.

U would have thought that the oracle guardian would have put up some kinda fight with the agent smiths instead of cutting straight to the kitchen scene, mind u i give credit to agent smith for the amazing acting, (hes one scary mutha fukker). And the final battle with neo and smith didnt compare with the burly brawl in reloaded, and they cheated with the special effects by setting it at night with rainy weather, similar to wot they did in jurassic park 1 to hide the flaws in the graphics. And why did neo have so much trouble with just one smith when he kicked the asses of 50 of them in reloaded.

The rest of the film was set outside of the matrix and had to much of a typical sci fi terminator/ star wars feel. The 14 min battle in zion with the sentinals cost 40 million to create, and granted it does look impressive but big machines and lazer beams making mahem is nothing we havnt seen b4.

All the main characters seem to have such small roles in the film. Most of the scenes seem to be with the captains and soldiers who are obviously new actors that ive never heard of.

I expected to see alot more improved bullet time scenes and the typical matrix slow motion clips like the truck crash in reloaded, but it seems all the money and effort went into the sentinal battle. The only effect which really stuck in my mind was slow mo right hook that neo throws at smiths face at the end.

But still, we have matrix online to wait for in 2004, so lets just hope they stick the game to the title of the film and not try and remake star wars again.
