Like when they talk to the Keymaster. They must transfer him into the construct and talk to him safely in there. Hence, "Trinity, get him out"...meaning, actually take him out of the matrix. He's code after all, dump him onto a CDR and plug him into the construct...listen to him, and them pump him back into the matrix. Same with whatever the code was the Oracle gave as a signal. At least it was slightly more subtle than a Cookie !
