First, there are SEVERAL known bugs already in the system. By bug, I mean simply an unexpected flaw in the programming. Agent Smith is a bug, since it was not intended for him to survive after being destroyed. Persephone, the french guy and the two ghosts are bugs. So it is clear that the matrix is NOT a perfect program.

Second, if, as you say, Neo's ability to bend the spoon is due to his realization that the spoon doesn't exist, and not do to some type of flaw in the system, then, as you expressed in your last post, why would't this ability extend to other programs in the system. Why couldn't he just bend the french guy into to bits, or make the architect disappear. You said yourself that all he needs do is realize that a program does not exist in order to manipulate it. In other words, your theory raised too many questions. You called my theory a simple one, but you will find that many times, the simplest theory is the one that rings truest.
