Subject: My theory [long, but I think it is interesting]

After seeing the movie three times and reading this forum, I have some ideas. I am posting them to see what people think, and have my ideas criticized. I want to apologize in advance for the length.

I have to start by saying I do not believe the whole matrix in a matrix theory. Someone pointed out in this forum a while back that if this was the case there could be infinite matrices, which would not be a good ending to the movie.

I believe that Persephone is the mother of the matrix, not the Oracle. The oracle is a name given to that rogue program by the freeminds. The Merovigian seems to mockingly call her the "fortune teller" and when Neo mentions the Oracle to the Architect, he simple says 'Oh Please." I believe this oh please means she is not the mother. If she was I believe the architect would have given Neo credit, like when Neo realizes the architect had not answered his question faster than the previous "One's". Persephone is in tune with human emotions, she sees that Trinity and Neo love one another. This perception of human actions is a trait the mother of the matrix would have.

I believe the Oracle seems to be able to see the future because like all programs, she survives from one version of the matrix to another, thus she has seen all of this occur 5 times before. What this theory leaves unexplained is why the Oracle had a "bodyguard." I put bodyguard in quotes because he states his purpose is to protect that which is most important, but he never says what exactly that is, he simply opens the door and we see the Oracle, thus making us think that the Oracle is what he is truly protecting. I believe that it might be Neo who is most important.

I also think that the 5 previous "Ones" chose the same door Neo did. When Neo is walking towards the door to the right of the moviescreen, all of the "Ones" in the monitors do the same thing. I first thought the images were always of Neo, and that they occasionally cut away to the previous "Ones," but there are certain times when Neo is speaking that the monitors are not. Also, the architect says he knows what Neo will do, and that he already sees Neo developing hope. He knows this because all the previous "Ones" did the same thing and chose the same door. If Neo had chosen a door different than previous "Ones" the architect would have been surprised. When Neo says "I hope we don't meet again," the architect replies "we won't" because he has seen the One take that door before, and they usually do not meet again. The difference this time around, like the architect states is Trinity. The previous "Ones" do not have the love for Trinity that Neo does.

As for Neo's ability to stop the sentinels in the real world, I believe it has something to do with Neo not being completely human. One meaning of the word anomaly is difficult to classify, as in difficult to classify Neo as completely human or completely a program. There are several occasions during the first two movies when an agent or rouge programs says either "just a human," "only human," or "still only human" when referring to him, as though he is supposed to be more than that. Besides having the mechanical implants in him, Neo has some relation to a program because the architect speaks of the code Neo carries being used to "reset" [i do not know if reset is the exact word] the matrix. To carry code Neo would either have to have some sort of program in him, or be part program. Neo being part program can also be explained, as has been stated previously in this forum, by some of agent smith being copied onto him either during the matrix, or the matrix:reloaded.

There are other posts that discuss how agent smith can be in the mind of Bane in the real world, so I will not go into that.

I have other ideas, but this post is long enough as is.
Sorry again for the length, but I would really love to hear feedback on this.
