Subject: Who cares if we are in the matrix

Seriously, who would really care to wake up one day and find out that the whole world is just an illusion based on the world the way it was a hundred-plus years ago. Last time I checked, the world is mostly illusionary anyway. Not very many of us truly have freedom. Television and music tells us how to think, as do our parents. We slave in the pursuit of money, answering to the greater authority that is God (and by god I mean the person who gives us our paychecks). Not to mention the government sticking its nose into nearly every aspect of our trivial little vacation on earth. In other words, why would I care to find out that merely one more superpowered system has control over everything I say and do. My response? - What else is new?
