Subject: HERMAN HESSE & MATRIX (....I have been very frustrated and angered)>>

I have been looking all around the internet and am so surpirsed how many "Experts" and critics of critics havent a clue of what this movie is about...

To say it was merely an action movie amazes me...I was all to absorbed in the plot, thoughts and conversations to have even seen the action...which I will again see when i return to the US in a few weeks...

I dont know how old most of you are...I am in my late 20's...

I never write reviews...never enter forums...but I was truly impessed and moved by this movie...and I am never impressed with movies...

Many try to be so avante garde, so philosophical and fail miserably....

Every character, every conversation within the sequel had *genuine* significance, representing many things...

I suggest to all who are not familiar to read Hermann Hesse..."Demian" in particular....

The Wachowski brothers I had read knew Hesse better than most professors...now I know this is true.....

And waht a cool package it was all wrapped in....

I do respect Hollywood or rather the producers for choosing "not to market t-shirts, mugs, etc. because we want to keep the entire image and movie cool..."

Demian can be read in 2 evenings...it is very entertaining and moving..and all younger and older philosophs should read(not some large philosophy book of Plato for those unfamiliar....)

Matrix was taken directly from Hermann Hesse (and the bible of course..but I am not all too familiar. Their admiration for Hesse is glaringly obvious)...

DO A SEARCH..
