中國傳統的科學在思想上注重關聯感應,
所以中國醫學也是關係到一個人的整體性,
強調自然環境與人或人體內在間的交互影響.

可是西方卻不同,
"西方科技太重速效，思想上也太重單向的因果蘊含方式"
他們不會相信中國那種重經驗而理論的思維模式,
所以以往輕視中國醫學並忽略其"整體合一"的重要性.
