首先，是否要區別和平與和平精神兩種東西？第二，中國很少發動對外的侵略，但記載了不少對內的侵犯。
和平是一種狀況，指人們喜愛安全地過活，與及他們的生命和權利都得到保障；而和平精神指人們主動抱著一份精神，堅持實踐他們自已精神上所主張的和平；和平狀況為何被破壞？一般來說，是一方漠視別一方的生命和權利。
‘和平精神’必會尊重別人的生命、財產和權利，並絕不幹破壞和平、威脅別人安全的事情；‘和平’只為個人可以處身安全狀況，當自己的安全得到保證了，他們有可能幹出威脅別人安全的事情。我認為許多國家包括中國，愛好的只是和平，並不是和平精神。
至於第二點，我認為和平不應唯獨對外，也應該要對內。
