Subject: all my pins are framed with scrappin involved
In reply to: Sandy 's message, "Karen e-mailed me with a great idea for scrapbooking and pin displaying I hope she shares it here!" on 16:16:20 08/20/02 Tue

Everyone frame I have done has been embelished with scrappin supplies. It makes them that much more special. I use Mickeys from postcards, books, internet printouts etc. and add them to the matts. If there not strong enough I back them with poster board so they stand up alone. I wish I had a digital camera to share them with you. I also use my wavy cutters, punches and stickers to accent the matts.
Its so much more fun than just poking the pins through the matt board.

One of my best so far it the hat pin set. I made large 4inch versions of each of the hats by paper piecing, then add details with chalk. I overlapped the pins and the paper hats on black matt board. Then I lettered it with white sticker letters. Looks pretty good. At least thats what the hubby tells me.

Anybody else have frames they have done with both pins and scrappin
