rotts are not as hard to control as people led you to believe. I have 3, 1 male 2 females. I have never sent them to obedience training, I trained them all myself (i am woman) I have no problem controling them at any time! It all depends on you! I would recommend a female easier to train & handle Male testosterone gets in the way so stubborn. Definately watch your breeding, inbreeding, and fighting expeccially. You will be fine just remember this is a very social working breed. the social part is the most important. Most aggression comes from frustration of not being a part of the family.
