 Aerian's eyes narrow in fury, glowing like beacons of blood in the darkness. She's probably a bit harder to handle than some of the other things Neka has captured, but perhaps not by much. But Fate... He was older, stronger, and MUCH more effective when it came to his natural magic. Aerian remembers this quickly. Those tapping powers... Neka wouldn't see them... She grins a bit under her bindings. SURELY they couldn't restrain her mind, even if they could restrain most of her magic.

Fate's violet eyes fly open and they keep staring at the ceiling, glazed and void-like... Unfeeling and unseeing on this plane. On the demon plane, though... The plane that few that didn't possess demon blood could reach. He could see almost everything. What was happening to Aerian. And Neka. Seeing what was being done to Neka made his blood boil. Aerian's marking were clear on the plane. If not for the bindings, Nicolett would be DEAD already. As would Kanth and that rat... Thing. Or whatever it was. Fate's features twist in disgust. He couldn't do anything. They'd probably kill Neka and Aerian if he appeared there... Or bind him as well. He had to keep this in check... And he had to do something. And he couldn't do both at once.

But... Aerian's form on the demon plane was unbound. There had to be something... But what...?

Fate shakes his head. He had to wake up Eryk. But something wouldn't let him. 'Stay down...' Aerian's voice says in his head. 'Keep watching.'
Fate's heart ached. He loved Neka... He HAD loved Aerian many years ago... And watching THIS... Gods... It hurt.

Aerian's eyes narrow once more. She had THIS skill down pat. Telepathic ventriloquism. If she could just concentrate properly...

'But what if you are restraining the wrong form?' Her voice says in Kanth and Nicolett's heads. The voice appears to come from the doorway.

But Aerian knew she'd never be able to handle this. She'd break soon... The rope was beginning to burn... Searing her flesh. She winces. The ventriloquism was a bad move.
