Thyran's Cave Slowly you turn to the 'Death' path, and begin down it. The waves do not reach your feet, and the way is undampened. You keep walking, though tire, you do. It
seems ages before you cannot see land, and a small glowing ball of light appears ahead. Trotting eagerly toward it, the orb thins and flattens into a silver-arched
doorway. You stop and gaze into the star-spangled abyss within the portal. A Gate. Taking a deep breath and gathering your nerves, you step through...onto white,
fluffy cloud. Your own gasp echoes from nothing. A stone statue of a huge dragon stands before you. It is ripping the back off of a small deer-like creature, and the base is carved with, May
the Ancients bring Death. The statue's thin golden eye narrows at you angrily. You jump back as the huge beast stretches out, and grows red-black-orange scales of
amazing variety. Its head swoops around and gazes down at you.
I am Thyran, the Ancient of Death. If you can answer my riddle, I might have something for you...
