Subject: CLass reunions

After reading the piece about class reunions I had a very negitive feeling about them in the sense that they are very fake and used to boost your own self at the expense of thos you grew up with. I did fin the part about how everyone from your school starts with a similar background and then it is up to the person from there. I see that there is a lot of truth in this because a lot of the excuses people use on why they are not as succesful as another person stem from things like s/he went to a better school, nicer neighborhood, etc and the fact that you are all from a similar background grew up in the same area and all went to school together negates a lot of these things. I think that at the root class reuoins started with good intentions but from there became petty competitions.
