(HALIFAX)-For the second year in a row the Halifax Harpoons have parted ways with their head coach and hired a new one. This time it was Andy Murray, who lead them to their first Hoser Cup who left the team and Dave Lewis who came aboard.

"Andy wanted to have more time for his family and although we pursued him with a fairly big increase in pay, he was not to be convinced," stated GM Stephen J. Holodinsky. "In his stead we have hired Dave Lewis who we believe will carry on in the same vein as Andy and lead our team to excellence."

For his part, Lewis was happy for the opportunity to coach a record setting offensive squad even though it was undergone a few changes.

"This is an incredible chance for me to demonstrate that I'm able to take a great team and lead it over the top," commented the new bench boss. "I hope that I can live up to the high standards established here in Halifax."
