(HALIFAX)-The Halifax Harpoons barely over their Game 7 meltdown against the Yellowknife Blades have acquired C/LW Oleg Kvasha from the Montreal Marauders for minor leaguer Radim Vrbata and oft injured prospect Nik Antropov.

In Kvasha they get a huge pivot who can pass as well as shoot and is a handful in front of the net. The team in including antropov in the deal looks like it is giving up on the once promising youngster.

"We felt that we were getting a centerman much like what Nik might have been had he remained healthy in Oleg. Radim could develop into a sniper in the future, but he wasn't going to play with us at right wing as we are deep there," stated GM Stephen J. Holodinsky
