Personally, I am for the Waiver Draft. As HALIFAX writes, any move (rule change) that works to strengthen the balance of the league is a good move in my estimation. As for the numbers, 18 + 2 seems to be a pretty fair way to go as long as players with little or no NHL experience (rookies, players under 24)are exempt from the draft.
