A three way blockbuster deal came down early Tuesday. Gone from Whitehorse to Montreal are Adam Deadmarsh and Mike Peca, while gone from Whitehorse to London are superstar defenseman and team captain Chris Pronger, Kyle McLaren and Eric Daze. Gone from Montreal is Petr Sykora to London. Gone from London to Whitehorse are Todd Bertuzzi, Jarome Iginla, Mike Fisher and Petr Nedved.

Ultimately, Whitehorse sees themselves stronger up front if that was possible, but weaker on defense. Whitehorse has admitted they have made a minor move with London on the side to add Sean O'Donnell for cash to fill one of their defensive holes. They have not ruled out adding another d-man from trade or free agency, and or signing their highly touted prospect Bryan Berard.

This blockbuster puts them in great stead for next year but leaves them with questions on defense.
