Dear cast of C of E :)
Thank you all so much for your hard work at yesterday's rehearsal, it's really coming together and sounding fantastic :) Don't forget to look over what we did, and everyting from act 1 as the next time we all meet it will be for a full run...........yey :) i'm so excited :)
COSTUMES: Storytellers and chorus, you guys all need to be in Black (completely so as to avoid glowing!) and with bare feet. Have a think about what black markings you would like and be ready to show me them on the 29th (no stars or hearts or fluffy bunnies please).
Named leads, you guys should all have been measured on sun, so you don't really need to worry about costumes! if you could all find a white or cream vest top (guys and girls) that would be great.
Young Cain and Abel i'm going to ask if we can make you a smaller version of the older cain and abels costumes, i will keep you posted on that. You will however need to have blacks aswell for when you are singing in the chorus :)
BAND: The band rehearsal this week is at Cavendish Hall, 2pm till 6pm. Anyone who wishes to come and sing through with the band is very welcome but be aware it is a band rehearsal and there won't be any time to go over harmonies.
I think that is everything, if anyone has any questions just give me a shout :)

Dear Cast of C of E,
Thank you all so much for all your hard work on Sunday. I was really impressed on how focussed you were :) THANK YOU :) don't forget to practise what we did (supermarkets are fun places for practising, though small children often become a little afraid!).
If you could all have a look at the words for Generations (lets face it there are only about 6 so this shouldn't be too bad) and also for 'Ain't it Good' and 'In the Beginning' before sat that would be fantastic.

Dear Children of Eden cast,
Hello :) Hope you are all ok, well done today, i think we achieved a lot. Just make sure you go over it in your heads before the first week back to LMA. A lot of the songs are really starting to come together and sound gorgeous, so keep plugging away at those harmonies and take up Nick and Billy's lovely offer of note bashing when you're back at school (hehe no lunch times off for them).
Here are a few things to remember/ let me know
1. could you all please reply to this message to say if you can attend a rehearsal on sun 8th nov, leads 10 till 5 all cast 1.30 till 5.
2. The first Sat back to LMA (7th) the children of eden rehearsal at 4.15 will be a sop and alto sectional rehearsal to go over your parts for all of the act one songs. So chaps, you can have an hour off (enjoy it cause it's probably the only one you'll have:)
If i've had a special moment and forgotten anything please let me know,

Have been thinking about it and wonder if we should go for...
LMAsters of the Universe?
I think the universe would be an even greater place if beans were valued above all other things, if ghost busters was always said in a Northern accent, if elephants with feet made from washing up bowls roamed the market places of the world, if there were cake for everyone at least twice a day, if beautiful movements turned into the mysterious music of the spheres, if everyone got to sing all the time...
What do you reckon? How do you get to be a master of the universe? Is there an election or do you have to go on a quest?
Either way, thanks for a great week. I had a lovely time. You were superb company and you performed brilliantly,

I actually asked my parents to turn back last night. They refused reminding me that no one would be there. I think we need a summer school that is 6 weeks long! In fact lets scrap the summer school and just have LMA every day of the year!
It was an absolutly amazing year and I wish it hadn't ended.
I'm trying to plan out what to take at LMA when we go back but am getting slightly confused... oh my, oh my!

This course will only run if enough students sign up.

It won't involve everyone for the whole rehearsal: We plan to group people according to songs etc to avoid too much sitting around.

I know this is totally random and has absolutely nothing to do with LMA, Music, Drama, Dance or any of that hoo-hah. BUT does anyone else find the Wimbledon fortnight so incredibly nerve-racking?
Honestly, I don't think I've ever been soooo tense and I think college should be cancelled over Wimbledon since I CAN'T WORRY ABOUT BOTH. And Wimbledon wins over College EVERY time!

Acting Students for next weekend
Just to confirm what you have been asked to bring for the Showcase, for those who may have forgotten or lost their small piece of paper.
Acting A - school uniform for one piece and casual smart clothes with any additions to make the characters look like spoilt little darlings for the 2nd piece
Acting B - to bring the craziest seaside stuff they could find ('The Walrus and the Carpenter' involves lots of oysters and is set on a beach). Jabberwocky people need to be strange (?).

To all who auditioned today.........you were MARVELOUS, which is a huge problem as Phil, Sarah and I have just spent 4 hours deliberating in the garden and are a tad sun burnt! It's gonna be a fantastic show, can't wait to work with you all :)
We still have a few pepole to audition (mainly those in sunny Spain) but will try to sort all as soon as possible, keep an eye on the message board.

AN ERROR IN THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE - BIRGITTA DID ANNOUNCE THE ERROR
DURING CLASS BUT HERE IS THE CORRECT INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE.
TO ALL STUDENTS OF GROUPS A/B/B2 BROADWAY
On the Saturday 27th June and Saturday 4th July 2009, Birgitta would like Groups A and B/B2 Broadway to attend each other’s classes to rehearse joint material. HOWEVER, if you are in Acting / Megavox or Dance please DO NOT miss your normal lesson in these.
Therefore times would be as follows
1.30 Group A as normal plus any group B/B2 NOT already involved elsewhere at LMA
3.20 Group B as normal plus any group A NOT already involved elsewhere at LMA

Hey, reminder to all you C2s....and a note to anyone who was absent who hasn't heard about Saturday:
please turn up IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN for the C's class ((@2.20, to costume up)...you Cs'll be sharing the class to stage your Scarlet Pimpernel stuff, and then showing it at 3 to anyone who wants to come see...let your family/ friends know please!!! It'll be a casual workshop display-type situation, so don't panic! My last gig with you guys so hope you can all come...
C2s, you still have a class at the normal time!!!...

PS Gen, DON'T PANIC!!! If you're even well enough to come, just do what you are comfortable with!!! Or just do the rehearsally bit and sit out anything else that might worry. Or watch the whole thing and be my assistant director.... Hope you're feeling better!
