Once there was a highly decorated pilot who was very
smooth with the ladies.
One morning, as my dad related to me, they were watching the air traffic.
One of the most decorated pilots walked to the tarmack with a very beautiful WACK arm in arm to a sitting P38.
He took her up.

Practiced some power dives over the field, 1944, was the year.
The P38 dove deep and then turned up to follow the mountain, the very tall mountain.
About 3/4 of the way up the P38 lost power and fell into the jungle and exploded.
Anyone know anything about this incident?
