The problem reside in the names you are using. To sort using alphabetic order you need to use filenames like 0001, 0002, 0003...1000. I do not know any application that sort filenames as numbers. To rename all of you files using this scheme try using some good mass renamer freeware tools. (search the web for mass renamer)
