Yes this is true and is now corrected in prev beta 1.5.
Use "Disktree" to catalogue files present in your disks, this is done in transparent mode. Simple navigate your disk. Files are catalogued automatically and added to database.
To Catalogue full disk simple go to root and checkn subfolders check box.
Use DBDiskTree or "DBDisk" to navigate in previous catalogued disks. Disk may be or not present in drive.
Use "DBSearch" to do a word search in all the fields of catalogued files. To this search tool work correctly do an optimize operation in "Database>maintenance" tool.
To use batch tools in more than one folder simple select your folder root and check subfolders checkbox in "DiskTree" or "DBDisktree". Use "DBDisk" to select all the catalogued files for one disk. If you want export grid fields from more than one disk or search operation use "CollectorGrid" to cumulate files from more than one "ScanGrid". CollectorGrid is just a working grid and do not interfere with database operations.
If you continue with doubts don't hesitate in contact me and sorry my horrible English :-(
