PDFE is not a reader. It only use ActiveX controllable external readers, like Acrobat, to view pdf files inside its interface.

To do what you want you only need to have Acrobat Reader, Foxit Reader or other reader, as your default Windows shell pdf files viewer.
After that you use the HTML menu as you normally do with a WWW html page. I'm sure the file is not saved to hard disk.
