It is an interesting idea. The big problem resides in the extraction of text in readable form. Most of pdf documents are written thinking in paper, so, extracting text contents need to isolate titles, text in columns, image captions,… Right now the PDFE text extraction routines are very basic and need to be improved to meet the essential requirements of this type of tool. In the next build I'm going to add a Read Out Loud tool to the text viewer and start, this way, to understand what is needed to get good mp3 files.

Regarding donations, all help is welcome :)
I'm developing a new web site and I will test the donations scheme to see if they are sufficient to help keeping this project free.
