The actual implementation of the image extractor use object order, note page order, to extract the images. PDFE scan all the objects form the pdf internal structure and if the object is raw image, process it. If you get the wrong order is because is that the internal order in the document object structure.
In the PDFE to-do list is already planned the development of a new method to extract images based in the page order.
