For now PDFE can only extract raw pictures, like the ones you see in a web page width gif or jpg formats. Vectorial graphics are currently not supported but you can always open the pdf document and use the tools provided by the reader you are using, like Acrobat, to select the vectorial graphic and save or copy it to clipboard.

When you say, "save powerpoint files" I suppose you are asking if you can index porwerpoint files width PDFE. If is this the case the answer is no. PDFE only organize pdf documents.
