You can already get this behaviour if you save the grid. Grid files grab the active document, view layout and active document page (if the used internal reader has this capability).
This is a good option to resume between sessions but can also be used to do what you suggest.

The bookmark feature can be implemented, and I think it can be improved if also the grid contents are grabbed. This way acts like the current save grid function but is used only in the running session and after bookmarking you can do another scan operation, do whatever you want with new grid contents and after that clicking again in the bookmark button restore the previous situation. Very nice indeed. Let see if we have this new feature implemented in next release ;-)
