We did better than expected going up against the caliber of racers that were there. This was the first real outing on this chassis, and we found what it wanted early in the day. We lead the heavy feature until a caution on lap 16 tightened the pack. Mr. Nevins had commented that Aaron was getting tired, he bobbled a little 1 lap into the restart and Jordan Weaver got by him, but all in all I am very pleased with the outcome. Aaron wants to run bigger events this summer, and this was the first test against the big dogs, and we are right on track to compeat with them, even with our limited resorces.
I will be in a more braggin mode if we do well in Wichita Kansas this weekend, it will be a more national suited track surface (takes more rubber).
I will send you a picture for this site when we get them. The photographer took about 50 pictures and said he will make a really cool image when he's done. I can't wait to see them. P.S. We need a couple of websight decals in white if you got them.
Steve
