Rob, just wanted to say again congratulations to the boys and to Brett. Caden has enjoyed racing with them. I think that the reason that the playing field has supposedly been uneven is mostly Yahoos fault. Last year we ran the same class as this year and it was a yard kart class with stock motors..and i mean stock. We used the same motor this year as last and it was bought off the shelf at Atwoods. So it wasnt really anyones fault its just hard to know what your running against when noone lays down the rules. I apologize for the confrontation that you and I had after our heat race..the official was saying that the reason for the restart was because you had a problem with Caden jumping the start and that he already had advantage with his motor. I learned alot the other night watching the boys play after each time they raced, already over anything they may have been upset about. Sometimes as parents we try to stand up for our kids too much and too quick, when all we really should do is teach them how to be good sportsmen and let the finising order be determined by them. I think the only thing I wish about the other night is that the official would have let our heat go cause our three were having one of the best races all season in just that short time they let them go. Any way I'm sure we will get to see you guys again and again congratulations to all the kart kids at Yahoo this winter...have a great summer and be safe!! Chris Cowles and all of the Raceworks team
