one of the problems with oklahoma karting is the deversity in rules. most tracks in OK run engine rules based off of the flat head 5hp briggs, southwest OK and north texas has mostly OHV engines. then there is the issue of cage/champ karts and flat karts. i personally believe that when track promoters work together that they all benifit. maybe not on a weekely basis, but when it comes to special events they should benifit from working together. if you want to see a good example of this just check out the lone star burris series down by houston. 3 tracks operting by the same rules with a monthly series race rotating between the tracks. hopefully some promoters can get together and get something going. it doesn't matter if it is OK tracks, TX tracks, or a combination of the two.

FWIW
Brad
