I was originally going to withhold my comments on this but now Im going to have to also agree that the entry fees are out of line with the norm and approx double with what other comparable events have cost in the past. I have personally communicated several times to the promoter of this event in the past week and voiced my opinion to him in order to attempt him to consider a more reasonable amount so that more karters would be interested in participating. I know its is more expensive to put on a indoor event than an outdoor event at a established facility but I feel that their series would make far more money and have more participation and exposure for the sponsor if the entry fee of $30 included the karters pitpass. 4 or 5 karts at $50 will make far less money than 10-20 karts at $30. Keep in mind that each kart entry averages 2.5 to 3.5 pitpasses per kart. For an event that is going to struggle to make a profit that is just too much money to pass up in my opnion.

I would very much like to participate in this series but its just a little more than I'm willing to pay.
