Subject: Sunday's Working Schedule

It's a little bit of a different routine on Sundays. First, I woke up at 5:00 to start with the horse chores. I fed everyone, and turned everyone out, once I started filling water buckets and giving hay to the horses, Shawn and Nevaeh and Thomas came down to the barn. Shawn started on mucking out the stalls. When we were almost done with the stalls, (6:30) MeShelle, Lisa, Erick, Linsey, Lacey, and Adam, came outside and we put them to work. Shawn and I finished stalls, MeShelle threw down haybales and straw bales, and Lisa stacked them, then we had Lacey bring haynets to Erick, he filled them, then Linsey brought them back and hung them up. Then, after Shawn and I had finished, we started scrubbing out feed and water buckets. Then, it was 8:00 and we had to go inside, eat breakfast, and get ready for 10:30 AM church.

We had lunch with Corey and his fiance, Lori. Then we all went out for an afternoon ride, it's hillarious that Lori knew how to get ON the horse! But... sadly, she doesn't know how to ride! hehehe

Later, after Corey and Lori had left, (their names rhyme!) we did the night chores. We brought in all of the horses (mosquitos are getting horrible!) brushed each one, worked with the foals, fed everyone dinner, made sure they had hay and water, bedded them down (we couldn't bed them down before they came in because the mosquitos...) and we gave each one a kiss (and a few a mint too) good-night and left for the night.
