Subject: Working In The Barn

Today I woke up at 6:30... Man was I ever tired! I made went outside, got the horse's breakfast ready, then I got the dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits ect. morning breakfast ready, fed it to them, let the dogs run outside, cleaned the cat's and ferret's and rabbit's litter boxes, cleaned the goldfish tank, and I cleaned feed and water dishes for ALL the animals. Then, I went inside, washed up, and made breakfast for my family. Shawn came downstairs with Thomas (Nevada was still asleep) and he ate with me and then he went outside to help me turn out the horses and then he had to go back inside, get Nevada, bring her & Thomas back outside to play in the play room, (I had the baby monitors on) and Shawn had to go and get cleaned up for work. Then, I worked on getting the horses in the pastures hay and fresh water and mucking out stalls. I had done 7 stalls when Lisa and Adam came down to the barn. They helped me finish up. Then, we took a break and went inside to listen to the weather forcast for the day. Once everyone was up (Shawn was at work) we took each horse, one horse to each person, and we groomed them thoroughly. they enjoyed it soo much! then we worked the horses who needed working, and we refilled water tanks. Then we went in for lunch.

~*LATER THAT NIGHT*~
Around 7:30 we went back outside (after supper) and we rebedded stalls, filled haynets, filled water buckets, threw down some more straw and hay, mixed evening feeds, and brought all the horses inside. Then, we turned on the county station on the barn radio, and gave each horse a kiss and left for the night.
