Subject: Working while my kids are at their dads

Well, we woke up at 5:30 this morning, right with the sunrise! We all watched it for a little bit then got right to work. Thomas was sleeping in the playroom, Shawn had the monitor on him. MeShelle and I started with grooming each horse for about 15 minutes each and then turning them out while Adam and Shawn started mucking out stalls. Lacey was a huge help because she gathered up all the feed and water buckets and cleaned them out! Then she filled up all the water buckets. at 6:45 we were all done with our first jobs, so I threw down some hay and straw, Shawn stacked it, Lacey collected haynets and MeShelle filled them, Adam fed the horses their morning feed. Then, I swept the barn isles, after Shawn rebedded all the horses stalls. We switched off the lights, I took a shower first, and made breakfast while everyone else showered and then we went to church. Later, The kids and their dad came over and we ate lunch, and went on a trail ride (Erick's new fiance came with) Then, we came home, brought all the horses in (it was 8:00) fed them their dinner, watered, made sure they had hay and enough bedding, and said good-night!
