Subject: Yet Another Sunday Of Work

Man oh man is this place getting busy preparing for winter! I think I will need a few hired hands for the next couple of weeks (please e-mail me if you're interested, we'll discuss details then) Well, this morning I got up at 5:30 and I let the dogs outside and cleaned the cats litterbox and Shawn got up and he went outside to start turning horses out. I met him out there at 5:40 and I started preparing horses breakfast. Shawn started mucking out stalls as I delivered feed. Then, at 6:00, when we were half-way through the stalls, Lisa and MeShelle come down to the barn with Thomas and Nevada. They go in the playroom (Thomas & Nevada) and play while we all finish up stalls. At 6:20 we were done with stalls so Lisa rebedded them, MeShelle took haynets and refilled them, and I took water and feed buckets and cleaned them and refilled the water buckets while Shawn checked fences, gates, etc. for anything that needed fixing. at 7:00 we had to go up to the house to shower and eat breakfast for church. Adam was the only one still asleep. Shawn went in to wake him up at 7:45 to find that he wasn't feeling well and we decided to let him stay in bed while we went to church at 8:15. (Starts at 8:30, takes 10 minutes to drive there)
*** After Church ***
My parents were coming over today so Lisa and Linsey took charge of cleaning the house (Adam was still asleep at this time...) they stripped the beds, washed the sheets and pillow cases, dusted, vaccuumed, sweeped, mopped, did laundry, and all that other fun stuff! While out in the barn, Lacey, MeShelle, myself, and Shawn (Nevada and Thomas were in their strollers watching everything) were busy doing odds 'n ends. Lacey and MeShelle were cleaning tack and checking for flaws, Shawn and I were driving back and forth to and from the hay shed to put a supply of hay and straw in our barn for the week (it's alright to have a little amount, storing it ALL in there is NOT OK!) And I went out and bought fire extinguishers. I gave the dogs and cats baths, then we cleaned up everything else for the pets. Finally, we started to repaint the barn and we were all done by 6:30, we washed up and I had supper on the table by 7:00 when my parents finally arrived!
*** LATER THAT NIGHT ***
Well, it's 11:00 now, my parents left and we brought the horses in, blanketed them, fed them their supper, groomed some, and gave kisses (and treats... hehe!) out and went to bed. Gosh are we all tired... except Adam who is defiantly feeling better!
