Subject: Working In The Barn

Well, it's Thanksgiving! We had family over, and so we had been cleaning like crazy last night! So this morning, at 5:30 I had to wake up and put the horse blankets on the horses, turn them out, feed them each their morning feed, and deice and refill water buckets. At 6:45 Shawn finally came out and started helping me! So we finished mucking stalls out together, then we decided to go out for a morning ride since MeShelle was up taking care of Nevada and thomas. So, we took President and Lad and went out for an hour hack. We got back around 8 and we put the horses away, and gave all the horses hay, then we showered, I got breakfast ready, and started getting ready for company. Then, all the kids got up, cleaned up the barn, rebedded stalls, checked horses waterers, and showered and got dressed and cleaned their rooms and the rest of the house. Our families came over at 3:30 and left at 7:00. So, we brought the horses in before it became TOO dark, made sure that they had enough bedding, clean/deiced water, evening feed, took the blankets off, groomed the horses who needed it, and gave them hay and an evening treat for thanksgiving and went inside to go to bed! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
