Subject: Barn work

We went out this morning and we were all tired! Shawn went out while I made breakfast and he and Lisa, Erick, Adam, MeShelle and Linsey fed and watered the horses, turned them out, started mucking stalls out, then came inside to eat and Shawn or one of the older kids watched Nevada & Thomas while everyone else was getting ready (they were done getting ready) and then I went out and finished mucking and Lacey filled haynets for me and rebedded stalls. Then, we checked on the horses, gave them hay in their pastures and went inside to get ready for the busy day ourselves.

We came home from school, daycare, work (etc!) and we worked horses, checked water, fed more hay in the pastures, and went inside to do homework etc.

at 8:00 we went out and brought all the horses inside, gave them water, put their haynets up, made sure they had enough bedding, and gave them their dinner. Then, we gave them kisses, turned the country station down a little bit, turned on the night lates, made sure the security system was working and went inside for bed.
