Today I tried to weld up a mag/trap that had magnets in a piece of mild steel channel with a stainless cover. After many failed attempts to tig I had someone hold the corner of a magnet twards the backside of my weld and it came out kinda okay. Is there another way to weld in a situation like this? Stainless wire would not weld at all, it kept flying out as fast as I could weld it in. Drop me an Email if you know how to remedy the situation.
