in my opinion from many years in welder repair i dont think it matters what brand of gun cable u use, its not a very good process to use a push only wire feeder, that is pushes wire from feeder only, unlike a spool gun that mostly pulls the wire through, it is possible to use a push only feeder and gun cable, tweco and others say use the shortest gun cable possible and use a teflon(plastic)gun liner, keep the drive roll tension as loose as possible so wire doesnt bird nest at drive rolls into gun cable, of course keep gun staight as possible, if it doesnt cost u much to try it, go for it, or u may want to save the money spent for a standard gun cable set up and buy a spoolgun set up, i know money is a factor but do it right the first time and u will be much more satisfied with the proper results, just my opinion, good luck
