Sean Astin, AKA Samwise Gamgee
Thursday the 9th, 7:00PM Bagdad Theater

He is the cutest little hobbit to hit the silver screen, no doubt, but Sean Astin is a also a multi-faceted man. Son of Patty Duke and stepson to John Astin, Sean is a pure Hollywood Child. He debuted in Goonies at age 13, and acted in thirty additional films previous to being cast as faithful Samwise Gamgee in Lord of the Rings. In There and Back Again: An Actor's Tale, Astin renders a candid account of the ordeals, controversies, and deals made backstage during the filming of Lord of the Rings, as well as the challenges inside a Hollywood life.

This free event will be at the Bagdad Theater. Doors open at 6 pm. Seating is first come, first served.

Due to anticipation of a large audience, Sean will only be able to sign copies of his book. He will not sign memorabilia. No photos will be allowed at the signing table.
