 Yes, but Joe and Mark didn't get sick from being in the car...and it can take several days for food poisoning to take effect depending upon the type of contaminate or parasite. The effects (typically vomitting and diahrea, perhaps a slight fever) can then last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. And Rachel was sick too so I think this is pretty likely considering that if it was the flu we should have had other respiratory problems and very high fevers.
