Our dear friend Sherelle is in Florida with the rest of her family. Her grandpa died earlier this week and the funeral is today. Luke stayed home...he has to work, but she went since her whole family probably won't get together for a while again. I know that she's still looking for a job and not having a lot of luck. But she sounded pretty darn happy and is loving being married :) I miss having everybody at home and getting to see people all the time. Come on summer, get here quick!

We put Otzo to sleep this morning. It's so sad to look in the backyard and know that she's not there anymore. I miss her already. I guess you none of you really know why we did, unless you read my blog, but she got really sick this week. Stopped eating after throwing up her breakfast Monday morning. She just layed around forever and hardly moved. The vet took a blood test which said her pancrease and her kidneys were failing. Since she has pretty much only had water since Monday she was getting really skinny. It was so sad too...when we took her this morning suddenly she was all lively again, sniffing everything, pulling on the leash, trying to get the cats in the waiting room. But if her organs aren't working it seems cruel to keep her alive and let her starve to death. In short, I'm pretty sad.
