I was very jealous when I was younger and it drove my husband into the arms of another woman. My continued checking up on him when he was 5 minutes late in from work, my turning up at the pub when he was drinking with friends, my phoning his place of work hourly to check he was there destroyed us. My jealousy would not let me rest, my mind was only peaceful when he was beside me and I could see his every move. He was a very attractive man, a popular man and I am certain my jealousy was all to do with a fear of losing him but its what drove him away. I was devasted he set up with the woman he left me for. Since that time I have accepted that people are not necessarily going to stay with us forever and that fearing them going only makes being with them miserable. It taught me to trust more and to believe that someone might love me for who I am and not want to walk, that jealousy was no means to keeping any relationship happy and continuous.

The site triggered lots of feelings, kind of in favour of the wife, then in favour of the male friend, then in favour of the female friend. Lots of relating to all involved some of the letters really touched me.
