I have got my first car. It is a 1980 Chevy Malibu wagon. Yes, a wagon. It has '96 Ford orange paint with 6 layers of PPG gold pearl. The wheels are Edelbrock 409 polished aluminum wrapped in 255/45 ZR Kumho Ecsta Supra tires all the way around. It has a roll pan, chrome accents, and dark tinted windows. The rear doors are welded shut and smoothed along with the rear door handles, and the hood ornament is shaved off. It has the stock suspension except for the Gabriel red-ryder shocks. Inside, it has freshly re-upholstered tan vinyl bucket seats from a 1987 Buick Regal Turbo-T, new carpet that goes all the way to the tailgate, and a new stereo system. The system consists of an Aiwa 45x4 watt AM/FM/CD deck, stock front center speaker, 180 watt Jensen 6x9's out back, and 2-12" MTX Thunder 4000 400 watt subwoofers backed by a 760 watt Sony X-Plod amp. Currently, it has the original 267 c.i. V8, original Turbo 350 trans., and original 2.73 geared 7.5" rear-end. My plans obviously include the 3.8 liter turbocharged/intercooled fuel injected Buick V6. I will back this up with a rebuilt Buick 200-4-R trans., and Buick 8.5" 3.42 or 3.73 rear-end. This car will go from a 19 second good-looks grocery getter to an astounding 12 second V6 powered 1/4 mile terror. Check out the car on my website- http://malibu.freeservers.com
