Hello Sisters of A.O.E.,

The Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation has received a few inquiries about the current 20/20 Alumnae Challenge campaign from both actives and alumnae. Due to the number of questions, we felt it was appropriate to extend the deadline; therefore, all donations must be postmarked by JULY 15th!

In case you or your alumnae did not receive the mailing, it has been attached to this email. Please forward it to your alumnae and encourage them to donate to the Foundation. This is an opportunity to offer grants to A.O.E. chapters based on your chapter's alumnae participation. It could be a "win-win" for both the alumna and the chapter. See the flyer for more details.

The Foundation's mailing list is based on information that we receive from the Sorority. It is VERY important that the chapters provide contact information for the graduating seniors as requested in the chapter term reports. The contact information is gathered and processed by the IEB and then shared with the Foundation. This process normally takes at least 6 months if the information has been provided by the chapters. So, for example, we would not receive Spring 2006 graduate information until typically later in the fall of the same year. We currently do not have any May 2006 graduate information in our database. Because the sorority website database is so dependent on individual Sisters entering their information and keeping it up to date, the Foundation tries not to rely on this database for our new graduate information and instead uses information directly from the IEB.

The Foundation has looked upon the current information time difference as giving new alumnae time to adjust to their new job and life outside of college before we begin to start seeking donations. Many people just need some time to get used to the "real-world", with the new changes in their life, and we respect that.

Pay attention when sorting through your mail. The Foundation uses a mailing house to distribute the campaigns so it may look like "junk" mail with a bar code and a simple cover but it isn't. It has the form and the envelope to use to send in your donation.

If you or your chapter have any suggestions on how we may better inform alumnae about us and what we do, please email us at foundation@alphaomegaepsilon.org. Additional information about the Foundation and what we do can be found on our website at www.aoefoundation.com.

Donations are made to Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation and sent to the following address:
Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation
P.O. Box 3150
Brunswick, GA 31521

I am looking forward to attending convention in Chicago. I hope to see you there!

In Sisterhood,
Dawn C. Brook
Chairman
Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation
