I just thought of this today, and maybe this topic is getting old, but just thought I'd put it up anyways...

It's also possible that the reason X is on a vacation is because of D.N.Angel, which also runs monthly in Asuka. D.N.Angel is getting a butt load of publicity, which means if X ran with it, X would be taking a backseat to it. I'm sure since X is (it looks like) finishing up, it's 11-year-end should be glorified instead of getting second-rate treatment. So, maybe CLAMP is only waiting for D.N.Angel to go back down to normal (I mean geez, it's been featured on the front cover for like 4 months straight now!) so that all the attention goes to X. P.S. I also love D.N.Angel, I have all the manga, it's so cute! But I don't like the anime too well, it doesn't follow the manga much at all and at times it...gets cheezy because they're USING Dark for his looks *pout*.
