Noooow that scene is coming back to me. Maybe it hasn't been revealed in the story yet? Though it seems to me to be a little late for a discussion of such things.

Perhaps the reason it is Kotori's fault is because she's alive. As long as Kotori doesn't die, the earth will be destroyed. But by giving up her life, the earth will be preserved. A bit of stretch, mayhap. Yet plausible. ^^

"Are we supposed to assume that what Kotori meant was to save the people of the world, or were her dreams literal, and the thing she broke to avoid was, in fact, just the world? Perhaps Kotori's death sealed the DoE's victory."

Oh wow, I hadn't thought of that at all. O_O;; That *would* be an interesting plot twist...now I want to continue in the next issue even more. *bounces up and down*
