Clamp campus is in quite a few of Clamps' manga, from what I've seen. In X it plays the role of being a sort of protecting force for Kamui's Shinken. Clamp campus is also sort of the DOH headquarters I guess because they live and go to school there when they are all gathered, with the exception of Aoki, Karen and Subaru. I think Subaru doesn't live there, but he's there quite often.... anywho they visit pretty often.
Nokoru's house is where the DOH reside in. They kinda form a sort of family^^
sorry if this is a little scketchy, I've only read up to vol 9 and the rest is what I've gotten from browsing various web sites.
Good luck with the Fic! let me know when you post it! I love to read other people's fanfiction. I've written some myself, but It kinda stinks in my opinion...darn low self-esteem. I hope I helped somewhat^^
