I have a friend who, at first, just kept changing jobs every time she'd get a raise. For instance, she started with the science job and the next day got a raise. Then, she got a job as an athlete, the next day got a raise, then went on to another job. That way, you rack up a bunch of raises and when you're more secure, pick out the kind of career you want to have. The ones that pay the most in TS2 are Science, Athlete, Slacker (believe it or not), Business, and the Criminal Career track.
