Hello

I know that there are many sims who have been financially blessed and have no trouble with the holiday season, while there are others...well who dread the holidays and the materalistic values that some sims place on it.

This will be my first holiday season with my hubby and our three children (a teen and twin children)-I already spoiled thanksgiving-I was so tired and didn't make the turkey and all the children had thier birthday on the same day. I want to make it up to my family for this holiday season, but money is very limited and I am trying to find some alternative ways to celebrate this holiday season that involve little cash.

I was thinking of taking the children to the park for snowman, bonfires and marshmallows and watching the free holiday concert. My husband has decided to try and work really hard (in addition to his job, he wants to entertain for tips) to save some simoleans for a gift for each child.

What are other simolean challenged families doing about the holidays?
